Sweet! I'll be there.

I like the idea of a fully painted and based warcaster for the SR tourney. Good way to motivate someone to paint without the daunting challenge of painting your whole army.

Explosivo has sent me and email after talking to me on the phone. We're going to make some slight changes in the line-up.

So I think Fri night we're gonna run another 1*1*1*1. It'll be a 15 pt limit. Last fall we had 8 min rounds, so I think we'll keep the same turn limits unless anyone is opposed to this. This is not a SR event, just caster kill.

I will be at the Auditorium at 5 pm with tables and terrain to set up. As soon as were set up we'll run the event. We'll have coins for the event as well.

On Saturday, the point cost will be raised to 50 pts. Again, the caster/lock MUST be painted. After the 50 pt event, open play and brewskies out at applebee's.

Sunday, remains the same.

So, in order to encourage us to paint more, Ive got a little surprise for you all. Every event, before we start we will be handing out out raffle tickets for every fully painted Warcster/Warlock, War'jack/Warbeast, Solo and fully painted unit(one ticket per unit) that you play in that event. A raffle will be done before each event for some very special prizes. Details to be announced soon.

So the sunday event is entirely mangled metal? Even in the later rounds?
Or does it start out MM and proceed to whatever? Not trying to be negative, but after resurgence, i'm sick of escalating events period, and ones with model restrictions even more. :|

That's the plan. The reason being is that Recruits will close early afternoon on Sunday, and keeping it Mangled Metal/Tooth and claw will hopfully keep us within the time.

Also, most of us are tired and wore out and getting there on time Sunday has, historically, been a challenge.

I didn't run or play in resurgence, so I'm not for sure what might prove contentious or problematic in this event. We've always had an escalating event every Sunday for the past several conventions successfully.

I hope that helps and I hope it doesn't put you off of participating in this event.

Hey guys!

Well I hope all can make travel arrangements for atleast the 50pt event on Saturday. Just wanted to give you guys a sneak peak of the prize support we're doing this Spring. The raffle for the Saturday event will be another model tray that I've created for Warmachine/Hordes players. Also, besides a coin kit for prize support we will be doin some more of the gear trophy coin mounts(thats a mouthful) PLUS, I have it on good authority, Meta Games from Springfield will be attending AND be donating store credit for prize support!

Also, those of you who are interested in purchasing a model tray, they are now available to buy! They are $35 and you can pick them up from Recruits if you're attending(or have a buddy who's going pick it up for you). Please email me for payment arrangement. kris@kriskolor.com

EXPLOSIVO!!!

Model Tray for sale!

Holds 40 small bases and 14 med/large bases. There's a slot on the side padded with felt for those pesky "taller" models that seem to tip over. Plus it holds Flnzer's loaded dice,64 focus tokens, dry erase markers, Dave Dankel's Dime Bags- all sorts of Tournament necessities!

kris@kriskolor.com for inquiries
